We are a British and Czech couple, Evan and Petra Lewis, and Krumlov has been our home for some time now.
After a short break when our main focus was translating, we are looking forward to resuming teaching and we are opening up our house to our new students.
We have more than 20 years of experience in teaching and we follow Cambridge teaching standards.
We also offer translating and interpreting services.
We translate from English into Czech and from Czech into English.
In dialogue together we can deliver the best possible translations in both target languages.
We have a long history of collaboration on translations for ministeries, universities and NGOs.
We also translate from Slovak and Russian into English.
We have more than 20 years' experience in professional translation.

- 10 years’ experience in teaching English, including 2 years of teaching at the UN Peace Forces base
- Graduate of the University of Leeds
- 20 years’ experience as a translator from Czech into English

- Cambridge CELTA and TKT certificates
- 20 years’ experience in teaching English, including teaching English teachers on the “Brána jazyků” programme
- Graduate of the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University
- 10 years’ experience in translation from English to Czech and vice versa
